So, me and two of my girlfriends from work decided that it would be a lovely idea to get our kiddo's together for a play date. At least it sounded like a great idea before the weather turned ugly and it rained all week. Luckily for us, Monday morning it was absolutely gorgeous. We met for brunch at Mimi's and then took the kids to LaFortune Park. Tricia has 2 month old Brianna, Jen has 1 1/2 year old Hailee, and of course, I have Jett. It was pretty interesting because Brianna is too small to really know what was going on, but was a perfect little angel. Hailee is old enough to run around all over the place and really enjoyed all of the jungle gyms and swings (and what a cutie pie she is!)
Jett LOVES to be outside! Anytime you put him in a swing, he just grins and giggles like crazy.
We had a great time and got a couple of really good pictures.
Jett and I have spent every evening outside for the past few weeks because he just loves it so much out there. Whenever he starts to fuss or whine, I just walk outside with him and he instantly stops. It looks like we might be spending a lot of time outdoors! Since today is Memorial Day, I had a long weekend. My mom, grandma, and I decided to take Jett shopping. We were all having a great time until right as we were leaving Old Navy it started raining cats and dogs. I pulled my car around to pick everyone up and then we drove down to the next store. There, I pulled up to the door, popped the trunk, and got the stroller out of the car and set up before my mom had to run like mad from the car to the door while trying to shield Jett's head from the rain. Needless to say, we were all soaking wet and freezing cold by the time we got inside. We decided that we better stay and shop for at least 2 hours to make it worth all of the madness. Here is a picture from a more pleasant day earlier on in the week.

My first Mother's Day!!!
Happy Mother's Day to me! What a fabulous day. Jett is such a blessing and SO much more fun than I ever imagined. I am so thankful that I have him and could not have asked for a better baby. He is so happy and snuggly. I could go on and on about him, but just thinking about him chokes me up. He is absolute perfection, have I mentioned that yet?
Biker Boys
Boonefest
Every year my company has a picnic at the Boone's ranch and we call it Boonefest. This was a picture of Jett sacked out in Bobby's arms. He must have gotten tired from all of the lovin' he got from all of my friends at work! I should probably mention at this point that I am guilty of being the one who dressed Jett for this event. Bobby wasn't crazy about his outfit, and one of my mom's friends said he looked like a girl with that hat. My argument was this: I can dress him cutesie for now if I want because when he is older he won't let me, right????

Jett is coming home!!
This is our little prince coming home from the hospital on November 20th. Notice the scratch on his face. I should have made him wear the little mittens, huh??? Those little fingernails are like razors and I am too afraid to cut them in fear of taking out a chunk of his skin. Thank goodness for my mother-n-law. She keeps them trimmed for me now every week.
Christian Jett Goldsworthy
Introducing Christian Jett Goldsworthy, born on November 17th at 4:41 p.m. (via emergency c-section). He weighed 7 lbs 8 oz. and was 21 inches long. I told you Bobby would choose a good name. We have decided to call him Jett. I suggested we just make his first name Jett since that is what we planned on calling him, but Bobby wanted him to have a more traditional first name for later on in life and business. I promised I would let him do the naming so I kept my word and we went with Christian Jett. I love it. He is perfect in every way and we love him So much!!!!
We're having a baby!
In April of 2006, we learned that we were going to have a baby.
How exciting! We were even more excited when we learned that it was a boy! We both secretly wanted a boy...BAD! Once we found out it was a boy, I promised Bobby that he could name him whatever he wanted. People have since told me that I am insane, but I trusted him to choose a good name for our son.
This is a picture of my belly in month nine, YIKES! I loved every second of being pregnant and had a wonderful nine months with absolutely zero morning sickness or stretch marks.

Wedding Day
My friend Emily started this blogging thing after she had her son so that people could periodically log on and check out what is going on in their lives. I thought it seemed like a much easier idea than e-mailing pictures every week and trying to remember everyone I need to send them too, so here goes.....Since I am starting a little late, I am going to catch everyone up. My husband Bobby and I got married on August 18th, 2004. This is a picture of us after our wedding. I remember being terrified that he was going to drop me and I was going to fall right into the water.
