Could we have any more accidents????

Jett's poor little lip had just finished healing when Friday night he fell on his bottom, causing him to bite his upper lip AGAIN. Poor little guy! He looked like a trout for about 2 hours, but luckily when he woke up Saturday morning and it wasn't even swollen or puffy. To start the week, I was on my way Tuesday morning to get my daily French Vanilla Cappuccino and as I was turning left, a girl came over the hill and slammed into the side of my vehicle. YIKES! Whose fault it was is still yet to be determined. I technically was at fault according to the law because I was turning left, however, she got a ticket for speeding so I am thinking it is partially her fault too. Fortunately, Jett was at home with his daddy and not in the car with me. They came immediately to the accident and, of course, Jett was fascinated by all of the "big trucks" (firetrucks, tow trucks, etc.)
Bobby's dad let us borrow his car until I could get mine back, but we received a call Saturday evening that we needed to bring it back to them because he accidentally hit the gas instead of the break and drove his car into their kitchen. Everyone was OK, but the hood and lights were damaged on the car and there is a huge hole in their kitchen wall. On top of that, Bobby got a call from the body shop on Friday and apparently, when you wreck a Mercedes, you have to replace the parts with only Mercedes parts. In other words, the parts are very expensive and it doesn't take a lot of damage to total out one. Now we have to decide, do we total out my vehicle and get a new one? Or do we have them fix it since it is only a year and a half old????? Bobby and I looked a little this weekend but couldn't find another SUV like mine with a 3rd row seat (must be a rare thing), and a navigation system. With the gas prices as high as they are, I told Bobby I was going to let them keep my car and I would get a hybrid. Seriously, these gas prices put me in a bad mood. We did drive a H2 Hummer and Jett LOVED it! I think it was being up high because he just kept looking around and squealing at the top of his lungs.

On a much more exciting note, we got to spends LOTS of quality time this week with our friend's, the Coatney's. Amy and I have been best of friends since we were 15 (that's 15 years, so half of our lives). It is so exciting now since we are both getting to experience mommy hood at the same time. Jett loves Abby, but he has this thing about wanting to poke her eyes. I don't know what it is, but I always have to grab his little hands as he is driving his pointer finger directly towards her face.
Thursday night Amy and I met up at Utica for a little shopping, music, and dinner. Jett's favorite part of the evening was pushing Abby's stroller wildly around the parking lot (please excuse Jett's windblown hair and farmer tan).

On Saturday we met up again with the Coatney's for dinner at Los Cabos on the Riverwalk in Jenks. I meant to get a pictures of Jett and Abby with their daddy's, but I forgot! Maybe next time. These were not the most flattering pictures, but the best we could get considering the kiddo's weren't interested in looking at the camera, and the weather was miserable (suffocating humidity and no breeze at all).

Today we saw the Coatney's again at church, and tomorrow Jett and I are going to meet up with Amy and Abby again. We are so lucky to have such great friends!!

Also, just a side note, Jett is counting now! He says, in the sweetest voice ever "oooooone, twooooooo, freeeeeeee, fooooooooou, fiiiiiiiii, freeeeee, foooooooou, freeeeeeeee, foooooooooou" on and on. To cute!!! Here a few more funny pictures from the other night when I went in to check on him before I went to bed. His feet were completely through the bars of his crib. What a crazy sleeper!!

I'm so glad to hear that you're ok! My parents used to have a Mercedes SUV and always complained when they had to get something fixed!!
How fun that you and your BF have kids so close together!
I was going to buy the zebra swim trunks from GAP but they were out of McCoy's size! It is so funny how alike we are in clothes!!
